ITALTILE MENLYN PROVIDES POLISH AND SPARKLE TO TWO GEMS IN PRETORIA FOR HD DESIGNS & RENOVATIONS.

Italtile Menlyn’s Sias Human recently enjoyed a rewarding collaboration with Hannelore Dagutat of HD Designs & Renovations, with the upgrade of two properties in Pretoria.

Hannelore’s contemporary design aesthetic is informed by her passion for sophisticated yet comfortable and functional spaces, that reflect her clients’ lifestyles and personalities: a very good fit with Italtile’s design philosophy when it comes to residential and commercial décor. Like Italtile, Hannelore believes in investing in the very best possible quality that the budget allows, to create spaces with timeless appeal that hold their value.

House O’ Brian and House Bodenstein both reflect the perfect marriage of Hannelore’s creativity and Italtile’s eco-chic style.

The House Bodenstein Bathroom.

Sias interpreted Hannelore’s vision of a cool, calm, sophisticated bathroom sanctuary with a gentle chorus of soft green tiles, picked out with white basins, and added a crisp urban edge with matt black tapware.

Tivoli Prato Black Shower Mixer and Tivoli Prato Black Basin Mixer. Italian Tivoli taps with modern lines, in on-trend matt black, designed to slow the flow.

Sutherland White Ceramic Countertop Basin. A modern classic with its elegantly slim, rounded edges.

Aria Green 100 X 300 Subway-Style Ceramic Wall Tile. Lustrous gloss and quiet oceanic tones that echo the movement of calm waters. An eco-friendly design made in Spain.

Cullinan Teal Recycled Glass Matt Mosaic. Innovatively designed and manufactured from 100% recycled glass. Diamond-shaped pieces are a nod to the geometric design trend, and provide a fascinating layer of texture and pattern.

The House O’ Brian Kitchen.

Hannelore’s mood boards for the House O’ Brian kitchen outlined a remodel that would give the heart of the O’Brian home beautifully functional and practical ‘bones’ with an easy-to-maintain urban aesthetic. Sias proposed top-quality imported sinks and sink mixers, as well as deluxe local and imported porcelain tiles, in line with the monochromatic theme, featuring layers of black, grey and white.

Franke Maris Onyx Black Stone Sink and Franke Maris Matt Black Stone Prep Bowl. Both extremely practical sink choices, quite apart from being visually stunning, crafted from silky smooth, hard-as-nails Fragranite (a quartz/acrylic material) by renowned Swiss-Italian specialists Franke.

Matera Spring Sink Mixer in Black. Made in Italy by Tivoli, the eco-friendly Matera Spring Sink Mixer slows flow rates considerably. The industrial silhouette speaks of a ‘professional chef’s kitchen’; charismatic in design, yet incredibly practical.

Magnum Silver 590 x 1190 Glazed EcoTec Porcelain Floor Tile. One of Italtile’s best-selling sustainably manufactured screed-look porcelain tiles, for good reason, with muscular good looks and a durable, low maintenance surface. A hardwearing, proudly South African choice.

Aria White 100 X 300 Subway-Style Wall Tile. Subway tiles remain a popular choice with their timeless look. Crisp and clean Aria White, made in Spain, is a sustainable choice; a contemporary interpretation of this nostalgic aesthetic with a lustrous glaze and charmingly uneven surface.

All products used in both renovations are exclusive to Italtile and are backed by solid guarantees and after-sales service. They carry Italtile’s LiveGreen label.

It is a privilege and a pleasure to work with consummate professionals like HD Designs and Renovations. Thanks to our interactions and collaborations with interior designers, we are constantly inspired, and we are always grateful for the insights and ongoing education in all avenues of architecture, construction, interior design and décor.
