Inspired by this timeless metamorphic rock, Axis Cream brings a warm, inviting interpretation of Spanish slate in a versatile 750 x 1500 mm matt rectified porcelain tile.

THE MAKING
The Axis Cream tile is produced with cutting-edge porcelain technology to deliver superior quality, durability, and aesthetic appeal. Featuring precisely rectified edges, the tiles allow for ultra-thin grout lines (approximately 1.5mm), resulting in a seamless, uninterrupted surface. This contributes to an expansive visual effect, ideal for creating open, fluid spaces.
State-of-the-art glazing and high-definition digital graphics capture the delicate veining and organic movement characteristic of real slate, while a subtle texture adds depth and tactile appeal. Sustainability is integral to Rocersa’s manufacturing process, with each tile containing between 44% and 62% recycled material. The factory also employs energy-efficient processes, repurposing kiln heat to dry tiles, further reducing environmental impact.
